FACT: Why Pumps are inferior

A gun that can shoot 8 bps can shoot 1 bps.... however a gun that can shoot 1 bps cannot shoot 8.

I think the guy who wrote this is inferior. Only the inexperienced think pumps are inferior. People replace skill with firepower, those with pumps never need to compensate for firepower because they can actually hit their target in one or two shots. Ever heard the saying, "Men with big cars, are only trying to compensate for smaller genitals." This also applies to people with markers that shoot way faster than a paintball gun should ever shoot.

You know I have a phantom and I play with it quite regularly correct?

But this is the brutal truth on why pump guns should not be used in serious matches and play. Keep in mind all the articles written on here unless stated otherwise are for serious games not for fun.

Some of us do not care about how 'inferior' our markers are. The whole point is to make it harder, and a lot of us our pump markers in tournaments. We choose to use 'inferior' markers in place of our 'better' markers because we enjoy the challenge.

Cyanide,

thank you for commenting and leaving your name! It really is nice to see people reading my blog. I can't agree with you more however I love playing with my phantom because it does make the game harder. Its just when people say their pumps are just as effective as semi's that makes me cringe.

Pumps vs. Pumps is fun. Pumps vs. Semis/Electros is not fun.

I agree. Pumps can only really stay in the game if they rely on semi-auto players to provide cover fire for them. However they are worthless in providing cover fire in return.

Sure pumps are more difficult to use, but you are really letting your team down by using one. You are putting more burden on the rest of the team and playing a pretty selfish form of paintball.
